Finally combat works! The basics anyway

Currently starting off with something simple as this is the first game i have ever tried to develop outside of gamemaker studios. so i have no prior coding knowledge and dont want to rely on AI building my game.

Each player gets a basic attack which can be used by using LMB, aswell as a secondary attack which can be used by RMB which is a stronger attack with a slower cooldown or a block. Both of these attacks use the players stamina regardless of the attack used.

Players will also have 9 uniqe skills that change depending on which class you currently have equipped at the time. These skills can be upgraded and evolved using XP that you gain through combat aswell as using certain skills.

Enemies now also have a basic AI that allows them to chase the player and do 2 basic attacks. Once the enemy dies they will drop loot that can be decided in a loot table with different rarities and percentages.

Completed Features:

  • Each class has a left click attack

  • Each class has 9 unique skills

  • Each class has right click attack

  • Basic enemy AI that chases and attacks player

  • Enemies have loot tables
